It’s here! The World’s 50 Best Restaurants announced Asia’s 50 Best Bars last month, with quite a number of local bars making it to the list. Covering drinking spots from 16 countries on the continent with 14 new entries this year, this ranking is all you need to plan your weekends in the city and possible travelling plans across Asia in the near future. 1. Coa, Hong Kong

Opened in 2017 by Jay Khan, Coa serves cocktails inspired by flavors found in Mexico. Start with the Coa signatures La Paloma de Oaxaca, mixed with Tequila blanco, Mezcal joven, lime, grapefruit soda and worm salt, if you are overwhelmed by the 41-page agave menu. The industrial-styled bar deserves another visit for the new cocktails inspired by seasonal ingredients added to the list every week.
