Modern Bing Sutt: Café Hong Kong (香江冰室) is throwing it back to 1960s Hong Kong with its nostalgic surrounds and local fare.
Look & Feel: It’s vintage-chic at Café Hong Kong, which translate to dark wood furniture, mood lighting, vintage posters and antiques.
On the Menu: Traditional cha chaan teng food with modern tweaks, such as MSG-free dim sum, high-quality ingredients and a dozen kinds of bing sutt ice desserts and milk teas. Look for all your favorite nostalgic dishes, like baked pork chop rice with cheese ($72), chicken rice pot ($78) and soy sauce chicken with tossed instant noodles ($60) made using soy sauce from Kowloon Soy Company.
Great For: Quick lunches, affordable breakfast, dessert stops, good old nostalgia.
