Family-Friendly Beer Place?: Australian import Little Creatures has found a 6,000-square-foot home in Kennedy Town, promising to provide a family-friendly hangout that just happens to offer lots of alcohol on the side.
Look & Feel: Housed inside a high-ceilinged industrial space, Little Creatures is not your typical neighborhood pub: it’s actually a fully-functional microbrewery, complete with giant brew kettles lined up behind the bar. Booth seats and an open kitchen add to the casual atmosphere.
On the Menu: On the food side, the offerings are diverse: there are pizzas, sandwiches, seafood, pastas… the list goes on. All of the dishes are meant to pair well with the Little Creatures brews, which includes a signature American Pale Ale made from Cascade and Chinook hops in the Pacific Northwest. Other styles available: a German Pilsner, a light Australian Bright Ale, and more.

Little Creatures
Great For: A family brunch, weeknight hangout.
FYI: Little Creatures’ first venue was in Fremantle, Australia.
