Fiesta in the South: After the success of its first location in Sheung Wan, this bold Mexican taqueria is bringing the fiesta to Wong Chuk Hang with a second restaurant, Te Quiero Mucho at Ovolo Southside.
Look & Feel: Details are still thin on the ground, but you can expect a casual eatery boasting a fun-loving attitude and plenty of Latin flair. It’s probably safe to say that this second restaurant will feature a similarly artsy, rustic and sustainable ethos as the original.
On the Menu: Like its Sheung Wan-based sibling, this Southside eatery will be serving up a full menu of Meixcan spice. Think delicious tacos, filling burritos and tortas, all featuring the authentic flavors of Guadalajara, Mexico. Diners can pair their bites with Mexican-inspired house cocktails and imported beers.
Meet the Chef: Chef Alfonso Gonzales, the Guadalajara native behind the original Te Quiero Mucho, will be bringing his traditional Mexican recipes and cooking style to this second venture, too.
Great For: A raucous night out with friends.
FYI: Te Quiero Mucho at Ovolo Southside will officially open with a blowout Fiesta Caliente party on September 28.
