What’s it called?: The Daily Tot
What’s it all about? Set to debut in July, The Daily Tot will bring a Cuban-inspired rum bar to the corner of Hollywood Road and Peel Street. Inspired by the daily rum ration that was distributed to sailors in the British Navy from the 1850s-1970s, this boozy sanctuary will specialize in rum sourced from around the world. The bar programme will be managed by Gerry Olino – formerly of Dr. Fern’s Gin Parlour and Foxglove, and will be lead by 12 signature rum cocktails made with Caribbean rums. Of course, you’ll also find a selection of non-rum cocktails, wines, and beers on tap, all seconded by an innovative bar snacks menu.
